Dari Pastoral Presence menuju Digital Pastoral Care: Rekonstruksi Model Pastoral Konseling Kristen di Era Artificial Intelligence

Perkembangan artificial intelligence (AI) menghadirkan peluang sekaligus
tantangan bagi pastoral konseling Kristen, khususnya dalam menjaga pastoral
presence di tengah berkembangnya digital pastoral care. Penelitian ini bertujuan
menganalisis pengaruh AI, mengidentifikasi peluang dan keterbatasannya, serta
merekonstruksi model pastoral konseling yang etis, teologis, dan berpusat pada
manusia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan strategi kajian
literatur, melalui sintesis konseptual-teologis dan eksegesis gramatikal Kejadian
1:26–27 sebagai landasan Imago Dei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI
dapat memperluas akses, komunikasi, informasi, dan dukungan awal, tetapi tidak
dapat menggantikan empati autentik, relasi interpersonal, tanggung jawab moral,
dan spiritual discernment. Penelitian menghasilkan model yang mengintegrasikan
AI-assisted pastoral support, human pastoral encounter, dan Imago Dei ethical
governance. Model ini menegaskan AI sebagai instrumen pendukung, sedangkan
manusia tetap menjadi subjek utama pelayanan pastoral, sehingga transformasi
digital memperluas pelayanan tanpa menggantikan kehadiran relasional yang
berlandaskan martabat manusia dan nilai-nilai Kristen dalam praktik gerejawi
kontemporer.
