Kasih sebagai Identitas Murid Kristus dalam Yohanes 13:34–35: Kajian Eksegetis dan Eklesiologis

Kasih merupakan inti ajaran Yesus yang menentukan identitas murid Kristus, tetapi kehidupan gereja kontemporer sering kali lebih menonjolkan aspek kelembagaan daripada praktik kasih. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis makna perintah baru dalam Yohanes 13:34–35 serta relevansinya bagi pembentukan identitas murid dan kehidupan gereja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis kajian literatur dengan metode eksegesis gramatikal terhadap teks Yunani, disertai analisis konteks historis, sastra, dan teologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebaruan perintah kasih terletak pada keteladanan Yesus sebagai standar kehidupan murid. Kasih memiliki tiga dimensi utama, yaitu kristologis sebagai perwujudan teladan Kristus, komunal sebagai dasar persekutuan, dan misioner sebagai tanda pengenal murid di hadapan dunia. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa identitas murid Kristus tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pengakuan iman, tetapi juga oleh tindakan kasih yang nyata. Temuan tersebut berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan eklesiologi yang menempatkan kasih sebagai landasan pemuridan, pelayanan, kesatuan, dan kesaksian gereja dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang beragam secara sosial dan budaya.
