Abstract

Social media has equally contributed to social conditions as it has ruined it. Social media has noticeably become a means by which unity among communities has been compromised. The current paper analyzes a case in Indonesia and projects a the Biblical view of the Babel account as way to respond to the current communication trend that has affected social dynamics in a negative way. The conclusion serves as insight to ensure fulfillment of national development in that the church, as God’s body, must take evasive response to the social condition and achieve internal harmony
